The Philippine Trade Training Center was established in 1987 by virtue of Executive Order No. 133 and with the official development assistance grant from the Government of Japan through JICA, to invigorate an export industry needed for the country’s economic recovery.
It is an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry that assists exporters, would-be exporters, manufacturers and entrepreneurs to become more competitive in the international market through training.
